Dear Customer, As part of ABBYY’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a secure and reliable cloud environment, we are implementing several enhancements to the ABBYY Vantage Cloud’s SSL/TLS configuration. What’s changing: On November 12 at 16:00 EST, we will introduce the following updates: 1. Enablement of TLS 1.3 (optional) - We will be enabling TLS 1.3 for all connections to ABBYY Vantage Cloud. - TLS 1.2 will continue to be fully supported, ensuring no disruption to existing integrations or client systems. 2. Revision of supported cipher suites - We are updating and simplifying the supported cipher list to ensure stronger encryption and compliance with current security standards. - The following modern ciphers will remain supported:
- Older, less secure cipher suites (including those dependent on TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1) will be retired. Impact on customers: No action is required for most users. Modern browsers and libraries already support TLS 1.2 and 1.3. If you are using legacy integrations or SDKs with older SSL stacks, we recommend verifying compatibility with TLS 1.2 or higher before the change date.
Why this matters: These changes align with industry best practices and customer requests to ensure ABBYY Vantage Cloud maintains robust encryption and optimal performance for secure communications.
Effective Date: November 12, 2025 Downtime: None expected. This change will be rolled out seamlessly. If you have any questions or require assistance validating your connection configuration, please contact ABBYY Support. Thank you for your continued trust in ABBYY.
